FAQ’S About Our Template Install Package

This service includes the following:
1. Transfer of the purchased template as separate unpublished pages on your Squarespace website.
2. Inclusion of placeholder content, images, and graphics as featured in the demo website
3. Configuration of site styles and plugins to match the template's demo website*
4. Set-up of a simple “Coming Soon” landing page if requested.
These actions fall outside the scope of the template installation:
1. Migration or transfer of your existing website content and media
2. User-specific configurations and customization of the template in any form, including changes to content, colors, and functionality
3. Purchase or setup of a new Squarespace account
4. Installation of third-party plugins not included within the template
5. Revisions to any form
*Configuration of site styles to match the template demo website is optional.
Though installation on an existing site will not change the content on your existing website, it can materially affect how the content is displayed in the browser. You can choose to have us set up a minimalist “Under Construction” page before we start the install.
Once we receive notification from Squarespace that we have been invited as a contributor to your site we will install your template within 2 business days.
Nope! When you purchase the Install Package you will receive instructions on adding HJM Studio as a contributor to your site through your admin dashboard.
This gives us access to the parts of your site needed to install your template. When your template is installed you can easily remove us as a contributor.
*Please note that you do need to have admin permissions for your site to add us as a contributor.
It depends. For your new template to be installed exactly as it appears in the demo we may need to edit your site styles.
Your site styles include things such as your color palette, fonts, buttons and spacing.
When you purchase the Template Install Package you can choose to have us match your site styles to the template, or we can leave them as they are.
